Fences will not contain us
"For my photograph “Fences Will Not Contain Us” I am trying to capture the energy of hope, courage, and the indomitable human spirit which cannot be contained by difficult circumstances or injustices. When I saw this flower growing through the fence, it reminded me of the wildness and freedom of my grandmother’s garden. I wanted to celebrate that sense of freedom and growth."
